For participants

Mobile app

The app participants use to get prompts and answer in a minute, wherever they are. They join with an invitation code, and nobody on the research team can tell who is behind it.

What it is like

Made for answering and getting back to what you were doing

Timely prompts

A notification when it is time to answer and a countdown showing how much time is left.

One question at a time

Clean screens, large buttons and the path that fits each answer.

Anonymous by design

The research team only sees a code. Your name and email never leave your account.

For you or for your children

In projects that ask for it, you answer separately for each son or daughter.

Chat with the team

To clear up questions about the study without giving any personal details.

You decide

You can leave a project or delete your account at any time, from the app itself.

Prompts

Each questionnaire at its moment

The home screen shows what there is to answer now and how much time is left. Some questionnaires arrive at times set by the study; others are always available so you can answer them whenever you like.

If you miss a prompt there is nothing to do: the app marks it as missed and will let you know when the next one arrives.

Answering

Under two minutes

Questionnaires are short and move forward one screen at a time. You can go back and change an answer before you finish, and if there is no signal at that moment your answers stay on the screen so you can send them again.

The path changes with what you answer: you will not see questions that do not apply to you.

Questions about the app

How do I join a study?

With the invitation code or link the research team gives you. Before joining you will see what the study is about and will have to accept its consent.

Who sees my answers?

The project team, always linked to a code and never to your name. If the project publishes open data, it is published anonymised.

What happens if I do not answer in time?

The prompt expires and is recorded as unanswered. It has no consequences for you: you will simply get the next one.

Can I leave the study?

Yes, whenever you want and without giving any reason. You can also delete your account: your identity is removed completely.

What happens to the data?

Some projects share it so that other teams can analyse it again, always without identifying anyone.
